I had planned a long vacation trip to Bass Lake with family & friends.
We needed to cut it short as we received an amber alert to evacuate.
Seeing the smoky cloud and raining ashes send chills down the spine.
The only thing which kept us calm is the faith in our true heroes who were fighting the fires. We were aware that to save our lives, our firefighters were in the woods fighting the spread of the fire and trying their best to contain it as soon as possible so we could be safe.
